Good parts at a great price and shipped fast. I was replacing the worn down stock gasket in my ECM Technika V Profi and decided to try out the much ballyhooed IMS screen at the same time. This gasket is a good fit, the screen is really nice. My old screen favored certain areas of the puck, and would dig channels in it not matter what methods I used to avoid it. This new screen clearly distributes the water more evenly because there are no signs of channels bored into the surface of the puck, and because the pucks come out as one solid chunk instead of a sometimes sloppy mess. The Technika always produced great shots even with what I described above, so quality wasn't really an issue, and I don't think that this screen is making my coffee any better, but it is definitely easier to clean up both the portafilter and the screen when I'm done.

These hold up very well in heated brew groups and remain soft and leak free longer than rubber. The softer silicone makes engaging the portafilter easier thus less effort and strain on your wrists.
Designated a 6mm. Measures at 6.3mm finished. Portafilter lands at 6 O'clock on newish gear.

The new Caffewerks puck screen can help soften and even the delivery of water to the coffee bed and help prevent channeling and to ensure a more even and balanced extraction.
Comes in two sizes, 58mm fits all commercial 58mm portafilters. The 53mm fits 800 Series Breville Espresso Machine portafilters.
The puck screen is added as a final step on top of your tamped espresso bed, before starting your extraction.

Works well and seems quality! The edges are welded together, so it looks like it should last. Nor sure if it affects water flow or not, but helps to keep the grouphead clean so it's not a big deal either way.

Good way to prolong a cleaner shower screen
Well made screen, slightly thinner than the usual 1.7mm thickness by others. Nice rounded edges unlike others and performs well! Highly recommend!
