Better than original!

I ordered the E61 screen and gasket set for a replacement on an Expobar espresso machine. Though the shipping was delayed (USPS), the product is perfect. Replacement is straightforward and the seal was excellent. I think the screen produces a better, lasting crema too. Thanks for a well-designed and fair-priced product!

The last hard rubber Replacement gasket I used leaked profusely. The silicone seals much better. No comparison. Also, well, my basket was not visually clogged, the new basket gives a much nicer creme’.

The shower screen and gasket seem high quality and well made. Height and fitment of the shower screen is very close to the stock Profitec screen. With the two-pack, it seems like a better value than the IMS screen.

Always reliable

This is my second purchase for the same items. The shower screen flow is flawless and uniform. The gasket holds the portafilter with so much ease. Easy to install and fits perfectly. The shower screen and gasket are both much easier to keep clean that the original parts.

Good parts at a great price and shipped fast. I was replacing the worn down stock gasket in my ECM Technika V Profi and decided to try out the much ballyhooed IMS screen at the same time. This gasket is a good fit, the screen is really nice. My old screen favored certain areas of the puck, and would dig channels in it not matter what methods I used to avoid it. This new screen clearly distributes the water more evenly because there are no signs of channels bored into the surface of the puck, and because the pucks come out as one solid chunk instead of a sometimes sloppy mess. The Technika always produced great shots even with what I described above, so quality wasn't really an issue, and I don't think that this screen is making my coffee any better, but it is definitely easier to clean up both the portafilter and the screen when I'm done.

Perfect fit for my Quick Mill 67 espresso machine

Very easy to install the replacement screen and gasket. The portafilter is easier to install and tighten with the new gasket. Coffee grounds are easier to clean off the nanotech shower screen.

Very nice

Probably should have gotten the 8.5 mm for my unit. Otherwise it works very well. Nothing sticks to it, lots of fine little streams of water, Don't be lazy like me, measure your old gasket for thickness if you don't know.

Espresso Gaskets

Gaskets for your espresso maker are small bits that create a seal to keep pressure during brewing. Without a seal, your espresso machine won’t work properly.

Silicone, rubber and silicone rubber blends are the standard. Silicone gaskets are popular because they’re durable and heat resistant. They can withstand heat up to 410°F so they’re good for repeated use. So your machine will be reliable.

Choosing the Right Espresso Gasket

Choosing the right gasket is key to a good seal between the portafilter and group head, which prevents leaks and maintains pressure during extraction.

Compatibility

Make sure the gasket is compatible with your machine's make and model. Gaskets come in different sizes and shapes, so you must choose one that fits your machine perfectly. Check your machine’s manual or contact the manufacturer for the correct gasket size and type. The same goes for other espresso machine parts. Know your machine first before buying replacement gaskets and parts.

Material

Choose food-grade materials like silicone or EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) rubber. These are durable and heat-resistant and can withstand the pressure and temperature changes of espresso extraction.
