A Caffewerks Exclusive! Our new line of BaristaFLO Portafilter Baskets have been tested in our homes and workshops over the last year and we are happy with the results! The shape of the baskets anlong with the hole pattern and size of holes allows you to grind courser  to achieve sweetness and body you wont find with typical baskets that come with machines from the factory.

A high-quality ridgeless espresso machine portafilter basket is an essential component in the process of making excellent espresso. Designed and manufactured with precision to ensure consistent quality and performance. This means that the holes at the bottom of the basket are precisely sized and spaced for optimal flow and extraction. Any imperfections in hole placement or size can lead to uneven extraction.

BaristaFLO ridgeless portafilter baskets are made from 304 stainless steel, containing approx 630 holes. This material is durable, corrosion-resistant, and easy to clean. It won't introduce any unwanted flavors or odors into your espresso.

These baskets are built to withstand the demands of commercial use or regular home use without showing signs of wear and tear. It should last for a long time without warping or losing its hole integrity.

BaristaFLO baskets come in two sizes, 18gram and 20 gram versions.

The "ridgeless" feature means that the basket lacks the raised edge (ridge) typically found in some older-style baskets. The BaristaFLO ridgeless design makes it easier to distribute coffee grounds evenly within the basket, preventing clumps and channeling during extraction. The design makes it simple to wipe clean and rinse after each use, helping to maintain the cleanliness and flavor quality of your espresso.

These baskets have 3000 holes! These micro holes are laser cut into a 1mm thick 316 Stainless steel. A larger area of holes and holes that extend to the edge of the basket allows for a higher rate of extraction.

Quality manufacturing results in a perfectly round basket that holds 18-20 grams of coffee. The 1mm material allows the the basket to retain its shape during a 9 bar extraction.  

These will work with most 58mm portafilters, however the thicker 1mm metal can create a tighter fitting portafilter.
